Book signing in Temple
Helen spent Saturday, August 10 visiting with WhiteTale Books owner Mandy and her customers in Temple, Texas. The attractive layout of the store, comforting earth tone walls and light welcoming large windows invited people to relax and browse.
Mandy and her mother served cookies and coffee to celebrate the day. The only first run booksstoer in town, White Tale Books is located on the south end of Dodgen Loop just east of I 35.
Silky, Helen's new Pinto, won 3rd in the Town and Country Obstacles.
Helen will represent Texas authors for an event celebrating the tenth anniversary of Barnes and Noble in Denton, TX, on October 12. Amy Harvey is organizing the event which will run from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
Helen hopes some of her fans from the SuSar Horse Shows in Denton will visit the affair. Ms. Susan Mayo has used some of Helen's books as prizes for high point winners, so riders at the show know the author as judge, rider, and writer.
